This building at the opposite of the supreme court is the federal sharia court. I wonder how both coexist. / Dieses Gebäude gegenüber dem Obersten Gerichtshof ist das Sharia-Gericht. Da stellt sich die berechtigte Frage, wie beide nebeneinander existieren können.
Skyscrapers area. This tower is called "Saudi Pak Tower" and has obviously no windows or invisible ones. / Der Wolkenkratzer-Bezirk. Dieser hier heißt "Saudi Pak Tower" und hat offensichtlich keine beziehungsweise unsichtbare Fenster.
The great mosque of Islamabad. Looks a bit creepy in these clouds. / Die große Moschee von Islamabad. Sieht schon ein wenig gruselig aus mit diesen Wolken drumherum.
A public school for boys. At the entrance is written "Unity, Faith, Discipline". You can find that all over the city. / Eine öffentliche Schule für Jungen. Über dem Eingang steht "Einheit, Glaube, Disziplin". Übrigens überall in der Stadt zu finden.
The neighborhood of my guesthouse. / Die Nachbarschaft meiner Pension.
Palm trees all over the country. / Palmen im ganzen Land.
So much cleanness in the city? Of course you can find the opposite as well. Here close to the stock exchange. / Und bei so viel Sauberkeit muß auch mal die andere Seite her. Unweit der Börse kann es auch so aussehen.
And here outside of Islamabad on the way to the multi-million city Lahore near the Indian border in the east. / Und hier außerhalb Islamabads auf dem Weg zur Multi-Millionen-Stadt Lahore nahe der indischen Grenze im Osten.
Night view of Lahore. Some beauty in this dirty and huge city. Never seen such a crowded place before. The people here cannot become old with that stress level. / Nachtansicht von Lahore. Ein wenig Schönheit in diesem Moloch. Habe noch nie so einen übervölkerten Ort gesehen. Die Menschen können nicht wirklich alt werden bei diesem Stressniveau.
And of course rain. And when it rains than as much as possible. Left you see a typical Riksha with a gas engine. Unfortunately there are not many what makes the city extraordinarily dirty. Breathing often is a real challenge. In comparison in Peshawar most of the cars use the gas. / Und natürlich Regen. Und wenn es regnet, dann richtig. Links eine typische Riksha mit Erdgasantrieb. Leider gibt es davon nicht allzu viele, was die Stadt ordentlich dreckig macht. Das Atmen ist oft die reinste Herausforderung. Im Vergleich dazu haben die meisten Autos in Peshawar den Erdgasantrieb.
So far to my time in Afghanistan. My way back to Germany starts on 11th of September. / Soweit zu meiner Zeit in Afghanistan. Wieder zurück nach Deutschland geht es dann am 11. September.
